Teak is a well known termite-proof, water and weather resistant hard wood. Mainly naturalized and cultivated in Asia and South East Asian Countries. Myanmar, India, Indonesia and many other South East Asian countries produce many forms of teak wood products. Among them, Myanmar (known as Burma) supplies almost one third of the world’s volume of teak wood production. Teak wood color and quality may vary depends on the location, age and technique of production.
